The School offers a twelve (12) months Post Basic training in Perioperative Nursing Education.

1. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and have a current practicing license.
2. Must have at least two (2) years post Nursing qualification experience.
3. Must have at least five (5) credits in WAEC/NECO, or NABTEB which should include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings. (BNSc is an added advantage).
4. Must present a letter of willingness for release/sponsorship from his/her employer.
5. Should be ready for a full-time study as no other course should be merged with this programme.

1. The sum of ten (10) thousand Naira (NGN10,000) only should be paid into School of Post Basic Perioperative Nursing, UDUTH account via Remita (by typing Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto and selecting UDUTH SCHOOL OF PERIOPERATIVE NURSING from the drop-down menu).
2. The original copy of the payment reciept should be presented to the Schools, where the login details (PIN number) will be issued to the candidate.
3. Visit www.spon.uduth.org.ng to start application.
4. Print two (2) copies of application summary and submit one to the school with photocopy of your credentials.
5. The portal will be opened from 10^th JUN, 2025 and closes 17^th SEPT, 2025
6. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for entrance examination / oral interview between 22^nd SEPT, 2025 and 25^th SEPT, 2025 at the School premises by 8:00am.
7. All candidates are to present their original credentials for oral interview.
